The Complaint:
My brother Billy Garrett went in for a simple hiatel hernia repair and this doctor ended up not making sure a blood vessel was clamped and stitched correctly before sewing my brother up. Due to his negligence my brother started coughing up blood and was in intense pain, it was 3 hours before they realized what had happened and he had to go back in for another surgery and then have a blood transfusion due to the blood loss as well. They said he could have died if they had waited any longer.
