The Complaint:

I am an experienced veterinarian receptionist who worked for six years at the Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital in Portland, Oregon. I had been employed there for three months and during that time I was never reprimanded or told I was not doing a good job. Yet, at the end of my probation period I was told I was not working out and would be let go. I asked if I had done something wrong and was told that I had not, but that I ?was just not the right fit for the job.? I asked if I could have any more explanation and I was told "NO!? After leaving, I recieved a call from one of my fellow co-workers who told me she had found out the reason I was let go - the head technician at the hospital did not like me. But I hardly even met that person. Since then, I have come to find out that the turnover rate there is phenomenal! I see want ads for receptionists practically every week. I would think twice before going to work there!
