Mega Gripe

My boss has been having an affair with my co-worker for the last six months now. As I am his secretary and his assistant, he dragged me into a meeting to tell us that we have to cover for him if he is busy or out with this co-worker whenever his wife phones or comes by. He instructed us to always tell her that he has a very important errand or meeting to attend. I do not feel right lying to this poor naive woman and think my boss is a real jerk for asking us to do this. Lying is not in our job descriptions.
