The Complaint:
While I was an employee in the amniocentesis lab at UCLA, I sat for a short video segment. The video's purpose was to show expectant mothers and their husbands the methods used to culture amniotic cells. I was happy to help the young couples coming to UCLA. Later on, I had a new boss. I learned from that boss that he had seen me in the video that I had made. So I asked him how my alma mater, UCLA, was. Then I learned that he had not gone to UCLA, but to Saint John?s hospital in Santa Monica. So TWO (probably more) hospitals had profited from my willingness to sit for that short video segment. I got no money for making it and now every hospital uses it.
