Mega Gripe

I have a roommate so I'm not struggling too much when it comes to rent. However, there's no doubt that it's incredibly overpriced. It's sad because I'd like to stay in the area but they own everything around here. They don't take care of anything. Here is the list of current problems in our apartment: no light in our fridge, the front of the drawer in our kitchen (yes, we only have ONE drawer) is falling off, my roommate doesn't have a doorknob, there's a hole in the floor in my closet down to the laundry room, hot water runs out in 10 minutes, no screen on one of our living room windows, our front door sticks when it's humid -- to the point that I have to exit through the window. There's more. We've had bigger problems that they've fixed. It's sad because if they took care of this place, they might not have so much trouble getting people to pay the rent they ask for.
